causes of the industrial revolution
Many factors contributed to the start of the Industrial Revolution. One thing that contributed to this start of this was increased agriculture productivity. This was the productivity of farms and producing crops on a certain region, which helped to reduce the price of crops for the consumers. Farmers adapted to new techniques and most of the time were effected greatly from it. It would not only increase the productivity but would increase the salary for the farmers. Another cause was a growing population. This caused an increase in labor, which allowed for more people to work in factories and take on jobs to contribute to the production of goods. This expanded the factory system and the production rate greatly. Also, with more people living in the region more things were needed to be produced so the people living there could survive off of the food produced by farmers and the goods that were made in the factories. Another factor to cause the Industrial Revolution was new technology. With advances in technology farmers, factories, and many more jobs had new appliances that they would use. This caused for business to increase and added to the start of the Industrial Revolution.
